The USA isn't looking all that great, and meanwhile Spain is fielding a full team. This could get interesting. Greece, Argentina, and Serbia loom as real threats also. As the 16 team, single elimination tournament starts we can discuss all things international basketball here.

Looks like our first opponent is Mexico. Not much of a squad but they two have two NBA players including highly respected big man Gusatvo Ayon.

I'm not scared of anybody except for Spain. Although I haven't really followed any of the World Cup.
I do wonder who will step up and be the man if USA needs one. Could be Curry or Harden. I think Davis is a possibility as well.
