The Nike Air Presto Flyknit Ultrashoe is a must-have for the runners out there. Allow us to explain why. When women shop for shoes, they want the whole package; it needs to be stylish, sophisticated, sporty and lastly, it has to fit the bill. Kind of like our Pick of the Week – the Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit Shoe.
How fly isNike Air Presto Flyknit? We’d say on the scale of 1 to Explosive, this shoe rocks just about any street wear look; it pairs well with jeans and is a great product for runners. The upgrade for this iconic piece comes in the form of a form-fitting sockliner, injected midsole unit, cut-outs to enhance ventilation and breathability, and a long-lasting cushioning system.
Project co-designer Tobie Hatfield detailed that the aim of theNike Air Presto Flyknit Menswas to enable your foot to take control of the shoe, rather than vice versa, giving you as natural a ride as possible while on the move. The form-fitting sock upper gave your foot the maximum in flexibility and room for toe movement, whilst still maintaining adequate support with its construction. With your foot secured inside the shoe, the side lace cage allowed for additional lockdown. With ‘the perfect fit’ configuration, the Presto was marketed as being the ‘T-shirt for your feet’, further reflected in the sizing options which ranged from XXXS–XXXL rather than the standard numeric system. The Presto itself was a forerunner to the Nike Free program which further developed the idea of giving the runner the feeling of travelling barefoot.
The silhouettes signature one-to-one fit becomes even more profound with the new mid-cut collar and ventilation in the toe and tongue, with support in the heel and underneath the toecap. The TPU cage is reengineered to fiNike Air Presto Flyknit White upper, while the ultra-tooling with rubber in high contact wear areas delivers improved comfort and durability.
