I've always liked JR, but have heard a lot of wrestlers and other talent complain about him being a cranky old asshole. He really came off as a cranky old asshole on Colt's podcast. He stated at the beginning of the interview that it took place before his ususal time to get up in the morning, but Jesus c'mon. He seems a bit bitter on his own podcast, but not to the degree he did while talking with Colt. Is this normal for JR?

The man's an absolute dick and I can fully understand why Vince fired him three times. He may have a lot of knowledge, but people skills are equally as important.

He seemed that way to Colt. Colt might not mean much to the WWE, but without him paving the way, JR would probably not have a podcast at all. He wasn't disrespectful, but he acted like he was too good to appear on the show. If that were the case, why bother at all?

His podcast can be really good when he has a guest he respects and lets them talk. When it's somebody like AJ styles or Lita, it's godawful.

To the second... well, everyone in the podcast world seems to scratch each other's backs and if I was JR having to appear on someone's show who I would never care to interview and I really didn't give a shit, I'd come off as cranky too. Fuck Colt anyway, I liked him as a wrestler but he shouldn't feel important enough to have a bloody podcast; his opinions mean nothing and I'm already up to my ears in podcasts.

Also JR's podcast, once it gets REALLY going (it takes at least six months for them to really get going) will be fucking great, but right now it's pretty damn good.
