With the release of the new Super Smash Bros on the Wii U and 3DS coming soon, what are your thoughts? Looking forward to it? Like the roster? If you don't have a Wii U or a 3DS, will it interest you enough to go out and purchase one?

No lie, the Wii U is awesome. I cannot wait until Smash Bros. is out.

No lie, the Wii U is awesome. I cannot wait until Smash Bros. is out. I've had every American Nintendo console at one point (even the Virtual Boy if you consider that a console) except for the Wii U. The gimmick control pad makes me not want it at all, but I may wind up getting it anyway just for Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros., and the new Zelda.

Seriously, the controller is surprisingly one of the most comfortable controllers in the history of controllers, no hyperbole. Mind you, I haven't played any games that require the gamepad to function as anything other than an inventory menu or map, but the ability to play most of the games straight on the gamepad is a humungous advantage that not many players are talking about.

I'm definitely a Nintendo fanboy, but the PS1,2, and 3 controllers are the most comfortable imho. That's why I've never owned an XBOX, that and all the fratboys on the multiplayer games. I have heard good things about the Wii U lately though. I need to go to Wal-Mart or Gamestop and play the Wii-U demo/kiosks to see of I like it. The only game I played with it so far was Rayman Origins and I didn't like the setup.

Decided I'm going to use my refund check for Smash U, Mario Kart 8, the gamecube controller accessory and a couple of new gamecube controllers.
Also psyched for the new Zelda in 2015.

The new characters in Smash are rather inspired.
