So Marvel is apparently coming out with a five issue story titled "The Death of Wolverine" and they are basically saying "no this is for realz, it's so going to stick, we promise". So how full of shit are they? Now, I'll be picking these issues up because I do think it can tell an interesting story. But Marvel has to be stupid to think I buy for a second this death, out of all comic book deaths, is going to be the one that sticks.
I say he'll be back within two years, maybe less. When is the new Wolverine movie coming out? 2016? Yeah, that's when he'll most likley come back to life.

The whole "No more healing factor" deal has been a crashing bore anyway. I actually much prefer Savage Wolverine, where he's fighting Germans in World War I and stuff, to the current "armored grumpy professor Logan who carries guns" nonsense.

I never read any solo Wolvie books, but my friend picked this up yesterday and although it was enhanced by Hans Zimmer's "A Dark Knight" was actually enjoyable. I mean, it's not $4.99 enjoyable, but I swear if Summers is the one that puts him down I'm going to cream myself.

Some of it might be related to the whole "X-Men is being phased out because Marvel doesn't have their movie rights" thing. I never really paid that much attention to that stuff, but it is an interesting theory.

Well, with X-Men, Amazing X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, All New X-Men, Wolverine and the X-Men plus two solo Wolverine titles, they're doing a bang-up job of phasing them out.
