'The Constant' is just an amazing piece of television. Desmond's story was surely the best told and most affecting part of the show, although Locke's comes close.
A lot of people mock Lost, now - and for some of the later seasons stuff, maybe rightly - but I can't think of any other TV show that's made me want to see what the hell's gonna happen next week more than this one. It was pretty torturous waiting for the next episode when there always seemed to be a great cliffhanger every week.

Desmond was by far my favorite character. I think most people who talk shit on it never watched it and thought they dead the entire time.

The Simpsons: Almost impossible, and changes regularly, but for now I'll go with "Homer goes to college" South Park: The Losing Edge Futurama: War is the H-word Family Guy: Road To The Multiverse American Dad: In Country...Club Father Ted: Speed 3 I'm Alan Partridge: Watership Alan TNG: The Defector DS9: Sacrifice Of Angels
I can't pick a single episode of The Wire or Game Of Thrones, and I don't think it'd be right to because of the heavy serialisation of those shows.

Good topic!
Hannibal: Mizumono. Goddamn fucking masterpiece. The Norm Macdonald Show: The three episode arc where Norm goes up against a billionaire for a girl. If I have to pick one, then it's the second, where Norm tries to storm the wedding blinded and high on valium. The Simpsons: "You Only Move Twice" Scrubs: "My TCW" as well as the followup episode are pretty hard to top. NewsRadio: "The Cane" is Phil Hartman at his absolute apex. Bojack Horseman: The second-to-last episode, with the drug trip. My god. Warehouse 13: Not sure, but definitely an HG Wells episode. Terriers: The finale. Veronica Mars: Either the Season 1 or Season 2 finale, probably. Archer: The Rampage episode is pretty hard to top. Frisky DIngo: The season 1 finale is a goddamned masterpiece. Futurama: Too many to choose just one. Probably either Bender's Big Score, Luck of the Fryish, or the Late Phillip J Fry. Chuck: Chuck vs. The Ex or Chuck vs. The Ring Part 1. Probably Chuck vs. the Ring Part 1, if only for the Mr. Roboto sequence which remains my favorite five minutes of television ever. Being Human (BBC): Probably the Season 1 finale, though any episode with Ivan in it is also in the running. Beware the Batman: Another really, really hard to call one… definitely one of the two Magpie episodes, but I'd be hard pressed to choose between them. Brave and the Bold: The Darkseid two-parter or the Starro two-parter, probably, with an honorable mention to almost every Aquaman episode, particularly the one featuring his rousing song of heroism. Sports Night: Napoleon's Plan Vampire Diaries (yeah, I know, shut up): Either some awesome Katherine episode from season 2 (there are many) or the Chicago episode in season 3. Reaper: Season 2 finale, thereby making the cancellation all the more frustrating. Todd and the Book of Pure Evil: One of the musical episodes. Probably the first one, just for "Horny Like the Devil." Firefly: "Our Mrs. Reynolds", and it isn't especially close.
That's all off the top of my head.

Friends: The One With The Embryos Breaking Bad: Ozymandias West Wing: Two Cathedrals Terminator SCC: What He Beheld (Choked up when Ellison accepts his fate, couldn't help it) The Shield: Series Finale (Vic's confession and the subsequent reactions are some of the best bits of TV ever) Family Guy: The Road To Rhode Island (Road To Multi-Verse is a close 2nd) Space Ghost Coast To Coast: Snatch (Arguments can be made for Fire Ant and Kentucky Nightmare) Batman TAS: Almost Got'im (Close 2nd for Joker's Favor) Star Trek TNG: Best Of Both Worlds (Sucker for all things Borg) Law & Order SVU: Fault Scrubs: My Screw Up or My Lunch, cried like a baby at both)

The Simpsons - And Maggie Makes Three (do it for her). Futurama - Luck of the Fryish. Justice League - Hereafter part 2. Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes - Breakout part 2, although the Private War of Doctor Doom is a close 2nd.
TNG - Chain of Command part 2 (there are 4 lights!) DS9 - Far Beyond the Stars (this is the one where the main cast are early 20th century novelists and writers, and "Sisko" dreams of a black captain on a starship). The Sopranos - Member's Only (Eugene hangs himself, Tony gets shot in the stomach).
