I don't really watch ESPN anymore besides live sports but College Gameday is an exception. Can't believe they never fucked it up.

Agree about Stanford, but I think Michigan St beats Oregon. The cracks in Oregon's armor started showing towards the end of last season and that's usually not a good sign for a coach in his first season. On top of that, however good you already think Sparty's defense is, it's better, and the reactive scheme they run is a great counterpoint to the modern spread offense.
Regardless, the game should rock.

Not a lot of great noon games. Watching Missouri vs Toledo on ESPN for now.

This Toledo QB claps to signal the snap. Seems like a dumb idea.

GoalLine Channel amuses me enough, even though there aren't any great early matchups this time of year.

GoalLine Channel amuses me enough, even though there aren't any great early matchups this time of year. FSU plays Citadel today. I hope matches like that are factored in when it comes time to select the playoff teams.

I'm sure Condoleeza Rice will do a great job.

McNeese St. only down by 10 to Nebraska. They're driving at the start of the 4th quarter. On ESPNU.

HOLY SHIT! McNeese QB with an incredible 25 years run on 4th down. They called him out at the 2 but are reviewing it.

Nebraska and Purdue are doing their best to make the Big Ten look bad.

Lou Holtz: I take exception with you saying McNeese St is an FCS school.
Reece Davis: It's a fact.
That's hilarious.

I went to Stanford's home opener last week and it was about 50% full most of the way; most of the tailgaters headed back to the RVs once it was 38-0 at break. Wish I would've been there this week to watch my USC fight on in a packed house.
